CUSTODY WIN FOR THE CICILIANO LAW OFFICE

The Ciciliano Law Office won a custody matter for a mother on March 22, 2011.  In a case where the father was attempting to gain additional time with the child, District Court Judge Gayle Nathan held that the father had not met the burden necessary to even gain a hearing to attempt to change custody.

The father in this matter had attempted to claim that the mother was regularly withholding information from him and our office was able to refute this claim.  As this blog has previously discussed, a parent wishing to change child custody in Nevada must show a change of circumstances since the last custody order.  Judge Nathan found that there had been no change in circumstances and, accordingly, denied the father a hearing.
