NEVADA CHILD RELOCATION WIN

The Ciciliano Law Office has gained permission to relocate for a Las Vegas mother.  In a case where the mother had the opportunity to gain better employment outside of Nevada and the father was shown to be unstable, our Client will be able to relocate to the state of Florida.  The father's visitation will receive one week of supervised visitation, in Florida, until he is able to demonstrate that he has become stable.

If you have primary custody, and wish to relocate outside of Nevada, the Court will consider the following factors:

  • Will the relocation improve the children's life quality?
  • Why does the moving parent desire to relocate?
  • Will the moving parent comply with visitation orders?
  • Why does the non-moving parent oppose relocation?
  • Can there be adequate long distance relocation?

Schwartz v. Schwartz, 107 Nev. 378 (1991)
